the property is situated in a stunning tranquil location in murcia and borders with andalucia within its own land of 3 hectares filled with olive, almond, pomegranate, and fig trees , currently the land is farmed by a lovely spanish farmer (the original owner), to keep the land and trees in tip top condition.

you have a choice of airports which are almeria (which is 1 hour away) murcia (which is 80 mins away) alicante (85 mins away). the house has the best of both worlds it’s situated in a rural area for peace and tranquillity, but also it is only 6 minutes away from a main motorway and two towns, one being a traditional spanish town velez rubio (15 minutes) and puerto lumberes (10 minutes) both towns have excellent amenities i.e supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and doctors etc. the main city is lorca (25 minutes), this city has everything from culture needs to the present day needs. the coast is 35 minutes away were you will find tourist beaches to the most beautiful secluded beaches. also near any amount of golf courses. the location is perfect for horse riding, cycling, walking, and all other activities with the wildlife on your doorstep

the cortijo is a very unique home every aspect has been thought out i.e. bigger than average windows for extra light, which are double glazed and fly netted, the roof and walls have been insulated to highest standard, most spanish houses do not have this.

the wiring and quality of the electrical fittings is the best that money can buy, even included is emergency lighting throughout, this is a factor needed if looking into opening a b&b or a small hotel

the new wooden beams have been treated to last another hundred years these are exposed to be a main feature of the house,top quality porcelain floors tiles throughout the house which reflects light and warmth. there are three entrances to the house, the first leads into the kitchen from the sun terrace, the second leads into the front hall, and the third leads into the second hall.

there are two lounges, one of which could be used as a large bedroom.


a fully fitted quality contemporary kitchen with all the mod cons i.e. dishwasher etc, the kitchen also doubles as a family room (with sky tv access) with area for dining and relaxing, this room also includes a top of the range wood burner with top oven 14kw output, ideal for making bread.

the inside out room (sun terrace) is attached to the kitchen it was built with total relaxation in mind, the whole terrace has been fly screened but again with new traditional wooden beams.

attached to the house are two large garages which have the potential to be made into a large self contained two bedroom apartment

there is a separate garage/workshop with electricity, it is big enough to fit 6-8 cars, with external parking for 20 cars or more

there is also a large bread oven outside (this hasn't been touched as it could be made into a nice feature) next to this is further animal housing which could be made into kennels.

the satellite dish is located near the bread oven it is 2.4 metre it picks up all sky tv channels from the uk ,telefonica have just installed new digital telephone system with internet connection.

the house has been built on a national protected park, to protect he tortoises and other species
this means you don’t have to worry about someone building new properties in this area as permission will not be granted full stop

the immediate outside area is in the process of being landscaped, at the moment it has been gravelled.
since these photos have been taken most of the furniture has been removed as the owners have moved out





the white goods are top quality from the uk and are available by separate negotiation

the property has all the legal paperwork and registered, which has been checked out by the bank, because the owners have a small mortgage on the house which can be transferred to a new owner which is legal in spain and save as the fees have been paid, which is arranged by the bank subject to status, or will be repaid in full, just like in the u.k.
