The boat is a Quicksilver 510 Cabin cruiser (only five years old). This is a superb day cruiser, fun boat powerful enough to water ski from as it is powered by an 75 hp outboard. (50 hp is the standard for this model of boat). The boat is British registered which means you do not have to have any seamanship qualifications to sail as long as you stay within sight of land. It is in excellent condition and has recently had the engine serviced and the hull antifouled. It is moored at the Torrevieja International marina which is only 10 to 15 minutes from the apartment by car, there is also free parking at the marina ( handy for popping into town not just for boating).
